My family moved us to San Diego (Del Mar Heights) when I was 7 and we never looked back. I attended Del Mar Heights and Del Mar Shores elementary, Earl Warren Junior High, Torrey Pines High, San Diego State University and Palomar College.  My radio career started in San Diego and the majority of my years in radio have been spent right here in SD. I have also worked in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Austin, Baltimore and Milwaukee.

I love music, golf, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, cooking anything on the grill, watching football, singing karaoke, travelling (but I don’t do it enough), video poker, playing the ponies at Del Mar and a good conversation…with just about anybody.

Favorite places to hang in San Diego: Any place along the Coast of North County but especially Encinitas or the Del Mar Race Track, Dog beach in Coronado, Balboa Park and the Zoo and Old Town and Mission Bay.

Favorite Restaurant: Sushi Bar at The Fish Market (downtown)

Favorite Movie: Almost Famous. It was filmed mostly in San Diego and the plot of the story is surrounded with music.

Favorite Place to sing Karaoke: I’m still looking for a new one, any suggestions?

Favorite Quote: “The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time” – James Taylor
