So, we arrived at Disney Aulani Resort and Spa yesterday and this place is AMAZING!

When I first walked in, I really felt like I was a little kid going into Disneyland. We were greeted so warmly by the hotel. They were waiting with leis and the most refreshing cucmber water. By the way, the leis smell amazing. I don't know how it is that the flowers in Hawaii even seem to smell better than the flowers on the mainland! What kind of magic is this?

Anyway, our room is huge! It's a full suite with a full kitchen and a balcony! There's even a rice cooker in the kitchen! We have our own stacked washer and dryer too, which is great because we've been taking full advantage of all the swimming pools and beach. Later we're going to hit the fitness center and spa, so we'll have even more laundry to do. I imagine this washer and dryer is a life saver for families with kids.

There are so many activities to do, not just for the kids, but for adults too. When we got here we went straight to the lagoon, which is right outside the hotel rooms. The water is the color of seaglass and it's calm. I just lay out there and floated on my back staring up at the huge sky. It was so relaxing. My husband, Stephen, read his book on a nearby beach chair. If you're not an ocean swimmer, there are infinity pools and an infinity jacuzzi that looks out over the ocean. There are a couple of pools that are sectioned off for 18 and over, so if you drop your kids off at Aunty's Beach House and feel like having a grown up moment, Disney has thought of that. It's amazing.

Another bit of advice I'd give for when you visit this place: Eat EVERYTHING. We had the best fish and chips from Mama's Snack Shop.

I want everyone to be able to experience this place. It's truly one of a kind. Okay, well, I'm off to explore some more of this beautiful Island! I think we're going to go snorkling next. Don't forget to tune in for my next live broadcast from Aulani Disney Resort tomorrow afternoon! You could qualify to win this awesome vacation!

And check back in here for the rest of my trip! Tomorrow, we're going to a luau!
