Dorothy's Wedding Wednesday: Wedding Bod Update

A month ago I started the 60 Day Hardcore Fitness Challenge to get myself back in shape, not just for the wedding, but for my life in general. 

I'm not going to lie- it's been pretty hard to stay disciplined. Meal prepping, working out 2x a day, going to work, then getting all my stuff ready for the next day is very time consuming. Plus, I'm doing double the amount of laundry. It's been hard trying to balance all of that with spending time with Steven, friends, and family, but now I'm at the half-way point.

I've noticed that I'm getting stronger, I have more energy during the day, and my clothes are fitting better. When I went shopping over the weekend to find something to wear to my bridal shower, it felt so good to put on a size 8 dress instead of a size 10! 

Anyways, this morning I did my mid-challenge 3D scan, and the results are in....

I'm down 2.7% in body fat. I've lost 2.7 inches around my waist and1.2 inches around my hips. Not exactly where I want to be, but I'm definitely on my way. Seeing the difference from 30 days ago is very encouraging. There have been times when  I want to quit or give up, but I have to keep reminding myself of my overall goal. 

If you're going through this, don't give up!!!! Let's keep each other accountable and stay focused on our goals!
