We spent Sunday in Julian and it was ADORABLE… and crowded 🙂 Little did we know it was the annual Julian Apple Days Festival so we could barely even find a place to park. None the less, we had a full day of browsing the cute old-timey shops and picking our own apples.
Obviously the highlight of the day for the kids was picking out some treats from the cute little candy shop so after about the hundredth time that they asked, “when do we get to have caaaaaannnnndyyyy?” we let them have at it.
The lines for apple pie were so long and the kids were getting cranky (plus we had a good sugar rush going already from the candy shop) so we skipped a slice of famous Julian Apple Pie and headed to do some apple picking.
It’s the tail end of apple picking season so I think we may have scored one of the last bags full. It was really cute watching the kids search for good ones to grab.
