Christian band, Audio Adrenaline, said their goodbyes to fans back in 2006, after lead singer, Mark Stuart, could no longer sing, due to vocal problems.

Stuart, who suffers from spasmodic dysphonia, which causes involuntary spasms of the muscles around the larynx, can be seen in this video of their farewell concert, struggling through their song “Goodbye”.

Fast-forward to 2012, and Audio Adrenaline has announced a comeback, with a new lead singer. Former DC Talk member, Kevin Max has joined Audio Adrenaline, and they’re recording a new album due out next spring. The first single, Kings and Queens, will be released to radio in November.

Kevin Max, Toby McKeehan (tobyMac), and Michael Tait disbanded DC Talk, and pursued solo careers. Michael Tait became the new lead singer of Newsboys, and… well… tobyMac  has done pretty well.

DC Talk’s connecting with Audio Adrenaline started back in 1992, when DC Talk’s Toby(Mac) took Audio Adrenaline’s demo tape to the record label, and the rest is history.
