Sometimes in the past I thought you were sorry to say somewhat arrogant and now I feel like I really know you. It is odd but when I think about things that have made me sad in my life several events have involved hearing about cruelty to animals and I will never forget these incidents nor the people that caused them. Some of my most happiest times have come from adopting at the Humane Society and Retrievers and Friends rescue in Temecula (yes they have many beautiful cats too). So I say Welcome Back!!

Jerry, You are an amazing human being. We live in a time when almost everyone is getting jaded and hard. It is so uplifting to hear from someone who is as open and caring as you are! Your conviction for the welfare of all animals is inspiring. Please know that you have brought joy and yes even hope to all of san diego and we LOVE you for it.

What a journey – inspiring for you, and now for all of us. Thank you. I have moved from SD since you were last on the air, and I hadn’t realized you were back. I’m grateful for the website where I can still hear you, and feel like I’m back at home.

First I am so very happy to have you back on the air. I am one of your Senior listeners and you start my day with a smile an appreciation for life. Jer, listening to you express your love for your wife brings such peace and happiness to me. I look at our younger generations and I hope they can make that kind of commitment to someone. After 48 years of marriage I know that feeling and pray that I have shown my children what it means to love. May you and the rest of your family Jeff, Tommy , Randy, and Laura always be blessed with peace, love and happiness. (Also stay on the radio until you are as old as I am) Love Yah !!!

17 months of no crying, no laughing, and no telling what to watch. I looked over at the car next to me at the light this morning and she was crying- we both were crying, and then we started to laugh because we both were listening to you. My iPod or pandora can’t make me laugh or cry- so a BIG THANK YOU for being back on the radio. It’s like you re our OPRAH. Get some rest -I can’t wait for Monday morning

I have been out of work for the last 6 mos. I have also lost my home and my husband/divorced/put down my pet and really had to tighten up my financial belt. What I have gained is my family, my friends, my belief in a highter being/love of budda not a follower but love him none the less. I have never cried or questioned why this is happenning to me but I wake up every day happy to be alive. I love that I can work out alot more. I can laugh more now, and I can love deeply. I am true to myself. I share your love of animals and your zest for life. I appreciate you soooo soooo much. Your journey has made you real. Thank you Jerry

So admire you and Jeff for keeping your radio family together, at great emotional and financial expense for all of you. It would have been so “easy” to do otherwise. You are remarkable men.

Hi Jerry, I listened to your broadcast this a.m., but had to turn off 1/2 way through, am an elementary school teacher and school started at 8:00 a.m. I did have a chance to hear that you’ve been writing. I have published two books and am working on my third. I have published through online company Lulu.com. I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but it’s very cool, online SELF publishing. i.e., you just download your file, choose cover, etc. and can “sell” online, either to the general public, to a “direct address” only, or just to yourself. I have chosen “direct address” because all of my books have been on family genealogy, so only available to family members who I give the address to. Anyway, check it out, it’s a start. And, you can actually hold in your hand the product of your own creation. Glad you’re back, xo, kim

Loved listening to your story. I am so happy that this experience brought you closer to your wife. People now a days want to walk out when things get bad instead of standing together and supporting each other through hard times. Its all a test… its all a test. You cant have good times if you dont have bad! (thats my personal saying).

“Well done good and faithful servant” is what I imagine you will hear on that day…. Your work with animals and your emotional recall of the past year and a half stayed with me all day and it inspired me to get involved. Community in action!

Jerry,
My heart ached and tears filled my eyes when you mentioned Dororhy’s passing. My thoughts are with you. Loosing your best friend is never easy and time is always too short with our fur family. I will remember her fondly through your stories!
Hugs,

FINALLY!!! I discovered you guys were back on the air quite by accident….but it was truly a happy moment! I’ve been a listener that’s followed you around through MANY stations (=D). I’m thrilled you were able to find a home, together, and in San Diego!! After you guys were removed from the air, I gave up on talk radio all together. I just didn’t like listening to anyone else. Hugs and best wishes to all of you — and welcome back!
