Hey Laura, Can’t believe Charlie is in 5th grade! How the heck does that happen? I totally remember calling in the showgram when you were stressing about “potty training” and Charlie was like two. It was nice hearing your catch-up, glad you guys are back and humbled…welcome back girl :)

I can so relate to everything you said about living with nothing and getting by with very little. I too have been unemployed since September 1, 2009. I was self employed and have not been able to collect unemployment because I didn’t pay into it. I’ve lost everything material to me. My world is in a 10×20 storage unit. These are items I love. I’ve sold items that I didn’t love to survive on Craigs List. I have amazing and awesome friends that have amazed me over and over again. I too owe the world a ton of money and will be working to the day I die. I learned so much about life, what’s important and who I am as a result of this time off. I am living in Ohio at my military roommate’s house (in Navy from 2/80 to 2/86). They are supporting me and I can’t tell you how humbled I’ve been. Love the pool story too! God bless you and yours. God is good…

Tommy is right to feel dirty about pof (plenty of fish). It’s like a pornographic dating site! Have you been to those forums!!

I’m glad you had that time with your kids. Welcome back.

Great to hear you all back on the air. And that you all have grown so much with experiences that others ignore or don’t understand and those that will never experience a portion of what you all have and will never find what you all have found.
Laura sounds like you have had some very moving experiences to prepare you for you’re roll as single parent for all the kids in you’re family. And there is a lot more you can do and experience around San Diego like going to Chollas lake in the summer great breeze and atmosphere that most have forgoten and walking areas by Padre Dam and the little lake/campground by there. Loved the drive-in myself and there is only a couple left Santee and the one off Coronado Ave near IP. Well keep up the good work, and just be careful on plentyof fish use to be there myself and check out eharmoney some more they have been doing a lot of free weekend communications.
